TRIOS is an intraoral scanner and is used to take high-speed images of a patients’ mouth and scan the mouth. These images can then be used by a CAD/CAM (computer-assisted design/manufacturing) to help make dental restorations such as dentures, crowns, veneers, and implants.
Using this technology, patients no longer have to endure using silicone putty trays to create 3D representations of their teeth. The accuracy of the images captured using the TRIOS system allows us to create digital impressions and design the perfect prosthetics for your needs.
The TRIOS system also helps us reduce the number of appointments necessary for a variety of diagnostic, restorative, and surgical procedures.
